Our wedding will take place in another state. Will an Atlanta Wedding Coordinator at House Of BASH travel?
Absolutely! Inspiration lurks in every corner of the world and love knows no borders. We love to travel, and can do what we do anywhere! Our work has taken us to Floria, North Carolina, the mountain regions of Georgia, and Tennessee. Learn more on our destination wedding page.

How many weddings do you handle at any given time?
While each year varies slightly, we will accept and manage no more than 8 full-service weddings per calendar year.

What is the average budget of a House Of BASH wedding?
Because each wedding is so unique, there are exceptions to every rule! In the past, we have worked on everything from elopements and intimate gatherings for less than 40 guests and large, extravagant celebrations of more than 500. To achieve our brand aesthetic we begin with an event budget of at least $25,000. Our events range from $25k – $100k+
What type of wedding do you accommodate?
All types 🙂  So far, we’ve done secular, Catholic, Protestant, non-denominational Christian (and several other flavors of Christian), Sikh, Hindu, Persian, Quaker, Nigerian, Jewish weddings as well as a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Interfaith, Fusion?  No problem.  We love blending traditions together. And we fully support marriage equality.
 
Do you do other events or just weddings?
We’ll do pretty much any event!  Charity events, baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, bar/t mitzvahs, communions, reunions, corporate events, engagement parties, Halloween parties, holiday parties, divorce parties, baby-namings, welcome home parties, retirement parties, product launches, book parties, you name it, we’ve got it covered.  If there’s a reason to celebrate, we’d be happy to be there to make it happen!
 
I have a Venue Coordinator / Catering Coordinator. Why do I still need a wedding coordinator?
I can say with 100000% certainty the venue coordinator or catering coordinator will NOT do what your Wedding Planner or Wedding Coordinator will do for you. Venue and Catering Managers work for your venue or catering company. Your Wedding Planner or Coordinator works for YOU.  On your wedding day, their focus is delivering their contracted services, exclusively: ensuring the venue set up is accurate [tables, chairs, and place setting only], the food is out on time and that tear down happens seamlessly. It is not in their job description to confirm your vendors, run your rehearsal, oversee the vendors on your wedding day, cue you down the aisle at your ceremony, and make sure all of the day’s events are running according to schedule. In addition, often after dinner, a Venue Coordinator or Catering Manager departs. This may be an important consideration if you are looking for support to set up your décor prior, manage your vendor team, and/or manage your event and timeline from setting up through tear down. For example cueing your DJ for speeches, cake cutting, or the first dance are outside their scope of responsibilities.
 
How do you determine which vendors to recommend to each of your clients?
We tailor all vendor referrals to fit the specific client based on their style, personality, and budget. After meeting with you and getting to know more about you and your wedding, we will send you a customized list of vendor referrals.
 
Will I lose control of my own wedding after hiring a Coordinator?
Definitely not!  Your wedding is YOUR event, not ours. We are there to help and guide you through the planning process, not to take over.  We will give you as much or as little help as you want.
 
My friend had a Wedding Coordinator who bossed around the wedding party and vendors on her wedding day – will you be doing that?
It is certainly not how we operate! We believe in vendors working as a TEAM with one common goal: the success of your wedding. We want you to have a beautiful and wonderful wedding, therefore we work together with your other vendors to create it for you. As for the wedding party, we are there to guide them on the wedding day, helping them and answering any questions, not to boss them around. We believe in fun and stress-free weddings for everyone involved!
 
What is your billing policy and when are payments due?
We accept cash, check, or credit card payments. All contracts include specific individual payment plans. A 50% retainer fee is due upon booking with a signed contract. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your wedding day.
 
How long have you been in business? Do you have liability insurance?
Established in July 2013, House Of BASH has liability insurance.
 
How long does it take to hear from you? 
During the week, we work to respond within 24 hours, but we receive an email over the weekend, we will respond within 48 hours.
