Sandra & Wama’s Nigerian Wedding at Ashton Gardens
Their western and tradtional Nigerian wedding at Ashton Gardens celebrated culture, tradition, and intentional design. Set at one of Atlanta’s most recognized garden venues, the day blended meaningful Nigerian wedding customs with a refined, modern aesthetic. Overall, the celebration felt vibrant, elevated, and thoughtfully curated from start to finish.
During the ceremony, the design honored tradition while maintaining visual balance. Clean lines and soft architectural elements kept cultural moments at the center of the experience. Meanwhile, color and texture added depth without overwhelming the space. As a result, the ceremony setting felt joyful, grounded, and purposeful.
As the celebration transitioned into the reception, the design shifted to support connection and energy. The room transformed into an immersive experience focused on guest comfort and celebration. In addition, intentional tablescapes, layered lighting, and refined floral accents enhanced the atmosphere while allowing the joy of the moment to lead. Because of this, the reception felt cohesive and welcoming from every angle.
Throughout the wedding day, the design emphasized clarity and ease. The layout supported smooth movement between moments, while consistent tones and materials connected each space. At the same time, nothing felt excessive or disconnected. Instead, every detail served a clear purpose and reinforced the overall vision.
Ultimately, this Nigerian wedding at Ashton Gardens reflected Sandra & Wama’s desire for a celebration rooted in tradition and elevated through thoughtful design. Planned, coordinated and designed by our in-house Atlanta Nigerian Wedding Planner and the House Of BASH Team, the final result honored cultural significance while delivering a modern wedding experience that felt polished, warm, and unforgettable.
